Rebecca Schweiger, Founder/Director/Instructor

Rebecca Schweiger is an Internationally Renowned Artist, Educator, and Author. In both her artwork and teaching, Rebecca shares her love of authentic self-expression as the universal language of freedom, self-empowerment, authenticity, and joy. She feels most excited about celebrating her full potential in all that she does, and Rebecca loves to inspire others to access the empowered, Divine spirit within.

Rebecca's artwork has been displayed in over 50 galleries and museums throughout the world. She has won many awards for her powerful, evocative artwork, and her work is included in hundreds of private collections. Further information about Rebecca's artwork may be found here. Rebecca is additionally working on her first of many books, Blessings of Breakdown and Soul on Canvas, both to be published in 2008-09.

While witnessing the magical energy of artistic expression transform thousands of her students, one by one, throughout Massachusetts, New York, Texas, California, Israel, and Italy, Rebecca felt inspired to open The Art Studio NY in Manhattan in order to further share the transformative qualities of self-expression through visual art. In addition to teaching at The Art Studio NY, Rebecca lectures and leads workshops and retreats world-wide.
